While Jenny was in the United States she did voluntary Beyond the Voice singing workshops at the Boys & Girls Club for three weeks. She worked with all age groups as well as different group sizes raging from four to twenty. Much of her work focused on tapping into an individual’s creativity and natural talent. She helped kids to overcome their shyness and showed them how to singing can be a satisfying means of self expression. Many of the kids got in touch with how much they liked singing and were surprised that they could sing so well. Some of the youth who were initially apprehensive about singing ended up being the most vocal by the end of the workshops. The majority of the kids attending the workshops enhanced their creative skills and discovered a new form of expression.
